This is a carousel. Use Next and Previous buttons to navigate 1of12South End Branch supervisor Josephine Fulcher-Anderson lights four candles during the Kwanzaa Community Gathering and Celebrations event at Ferguson Library's South End Branch in Stamford, Conn. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022. Folks celebrated day four of Kwanzaa on Thursday by learning the principle of Ujamaa, meaning cooperative support, through a paper weaving activity. Another event is planned at the South End Branch on Saturday to teach the principle of Kuumba, meaning creativity, with a coloring activity.
